The novel “Return to Your Destroyed Bodies” opened a whole series of works about the mysterious “World of the River”, where all the people who died on Earth were resurrected. The first book mainly describes the structure of the World of the River and the attempts of the main character, Richard Burton, to understand what is happening. Written on the basis of the unpublished novel “I Owe for the Flesh”, the manuscript of which was considered lost.
