Джеймс Лі майстерно створює атмосферу напруження і загадки, занурюючи читача у світ піщаного фестивалю Burning Man, де на фоні яскравих кольорів та енергії свята відбувається жахливе вбивство. Головний герой, детектив Джек Морган, виявляється в епіцентрі подій, і разом з напарницею Джесікою вони намагаються розгадати заплутану справу, що постійно підносить нові виклики. Повороти сюжету настільки непередбачувані, що я не міг відірватися від книги, і кожна нова глава приносила нові відкриття.
