The Emerald Dream and its reclusive guards – a genus of green dragons – keep many secrets. Druids, who set themselves the goal of maintaining the fragile balance of nature, have long been immersed in the Emerald Dream and vigilantly monitored changes on Azeroth. However, not all dreams are pleasant. Recently, the Emerald Nightmare, the corruption lurking in the depths of the Emerald Dream, has begun to grow, turning serene nature into a realm of unimaginable horror. The minds and bodies of green dragons caught in the Nightmare have been irreversibly changed. And the druids, who entered the transformed realm of dreams, discovered that getting out of it was not so easy, and sometimes even impossible! But these are not the only victims of the Emerald Nightmare - more and more often, the inhabitants of Azeroth feel the breath of corruption on themselves. It is possible that even Malfurion Stormrage himself, the very first and most powerful druid of Azeroth, also fell victim to this growing threat. As uncontrollable nightmares spread throughout the world, the Archdruid's companions make a desperate attempt to find and save him. Very soon, the enemies of nature will learn the true meaning of the name Stormrage.
