"Світська левиця за одну ніч" - це роман, який вражає своєю легкістю та водночас глибиною. Історія Попелюшки з Середнього Заходу, яка вирушає до Нью-Йорка в пошуках своєї мрії, захоплює з перших сторінок. Авторка майстерно створює атмосферу великого міста, де мрії стають реальністю, а кохання може з'явитися в найнесподіваніший момент. Взаємини між головними героями розвиваються поступово, що робить їх ще більш правдоподібними. Експеримент, який проводить аристократ, не лише додає інтриги, але й дозволяє читачеві поринути в світ елегантності та стилю. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, загальна якість тексту залишається високою, і я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто хоче насолодитися романтичною історією з елементами комедії та драми. Вона точно залишить по собі приємний післясмак!
