Greek entrepreneur Stavros Konstantinos, who has become cramped within the family business, is preparing to implement his own ambitious project. Behind him is excessive paternal care, a passionless romance with a girl who was more liked by her parents than by Stavros himself. But an unpleasant incident interferes with his plans: during an excursion to a quarry owned by his family, a teenager disappears. In an effort to quickly find him, Stavros goes on a search himself. He is joined by an American travel company employee, Andrea Linford. The courageous gray-eyed Greek evokes a strong feeling in her, but, not believing in the possibility of mutual love, she is ready to run away from him to the ends of the earth...
