January 27, 1837 Pushkin was mortally wounded in a duel by Lieutenant of the Cavalry Regiment Georges Dantes. The history of this duel is shrouded in a dense veil of myths and legends. These and other questions are answered by the famous Russian historian, world-famous scientist Ruslan Grigorievich Skrynnikov.
