A newborn Book appears in one of the city bookstores, and her name is Unconditional Love. Active and inquisitive, she immediately begins to understand herself through communication with the world around her: she gets acquainted with other Books and objects, gets to know people, reads and experiences many adventures. In the visions that the heroine has while reading, she sees a man crucified on the cross, and then turns into a girl named Anna, one of the disciples of Jesus Christ. Being in the guise of Anna, the Book learns that it will soon betray its Teacher. Returning to the body of the Book, the heroine seeks the meaning of existence in enjoying the present moment, without even realizing that the life of her last reader now depends on her own life. “I am a Book” is unique in that it is narrated from the perspective of the heroine, the Book. This allows you to feel all the magic of the book world from the inside, and see the world of people through the unusual eyes of books living on bookstore shelves and closets.
