He had the opportunity to fly on a cannonball, shoot seven partridges in one shot, get out of the belly of a huge fish and even visit the Moon! Whether this is true or false is for the reader to decide. But Baron Munchausen himself really existed. He lived in Germany in the 18th century and was a nobleman, a military man and a witty inventor, famous throughout the world for his stories.
