While some consider literature to be a body of social ideas and an expression of national self-consciousness at a given moment of development, others understand by this word all sorts of magazine and newspaper rubbish and do not distinguish a writer who carried a well-known worldview from a literary man in the street who denounced anonymous correspondence.
