Читач отримує можливість заглибитися в контекст радянсько-фінської війни, дізнатися про причини конфлікту та роль "Лінії Маннергейма". Книга написана живою мовою, що дозволяє легко сприймати інформацію, а також викликає емоційний відгук. Хоча переклад іноді має недоліки, загальна якість тексту не зменшує цінності цього твору. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче зрозуміти не лише історію, а й психологію людей, які брали участь у цих важких подіях.
