Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруженості та інтриг, коли принц-вигнанець Альдо Ракан стає коронованим у місті, де колись загинула його родина. Конфлікти між персонажами, такими як Ворон Роке та Король Скал, додають динаміки та емоційної напруги, змушуючи читача переживати за їхні долі.
