It is to the Thule colony lost in the ice that the Earth-2 experimental station is moving. On board the station are billionaire Andrei Gumilyov, his little daughter Marusya, Andrei’s beloved Margot Safina, as well as General Sviridov, who never parts with Orel. None of them imagines what they will have to face in the snowy depths of the Arctic. On the third day of the journey, a mysterious murder occurs on board the station.
