Captain 1st Rank Klim Vorokh, nicknamed Skat, has been given a task of the highest importance. He must obtain samples of the skin of a top-secret French fighter that crashed off the coast of Latin America. Neither American nor Russian radars detected the plane, and Vorokh has to conduct the search, as they say, blindly. Showing miracles of endurance, resourcefulness and skill, Skat and his partner completed the task.
