Книга "Графіня темряви" вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Автор майстерно відтворює атмосферу Франції 1794 року, де на фоні історичних подій розгортається особиста драма головної героїні, Лаури Адамс. Її боротьба за кохання та пошук ідентичності в умовах хаосу і терору роблять цю історію не лише захоплюючою, але й надзвичайно актуальною. Лаура, як персонаж, викликає симпатію та співчуття, адже їй доводиться не лише зіштовхуватися з зовнішніми загрозами, але й боротися з власними демонами. Хоча переклад книги має деякі недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися чудовою оповіддю. Я б рекомендувала цю книгу всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами драми та романтики.
