For Abby Renard, the plan was simple: join her brothers' band for the last leg of a summer tour and, as its fourth member, decide if she's finally ready for the spotlight. Of course, she had no idea that at Rock Nation, having mistakenly boarded the wrong tour bus, she would accidentally end up in the bed of Jake Slater, a notorious libertine and lead singer of the band Runaway Train. When he mistakes her for one of his fans, Abby quickly lets him know that she certainly didn't end up in his bed on purpose. Jake Slater never thought that the angel who had descended into his bed would resist his charms with a knee strike right between his legs. And of course, the fact that she looks like a prim choir girl is not at all his taste. So when he bets Abby that she won't last a week on their bus, he's surprised when he realizes she's determined to prove him wrong. But Jake's personal life soon comes crashing down on him, and he finds an unexpected ally in Abby. He had never met a girl with whom he could talk, joke, and most importantly, write music. As the week begins to wind down, neither Abby nor Jake are ready to leave. Can a beloved country singer and a rock 'n' roll bad boy really have a future together?
