Mikhail Tanich lived a difficult life. He fought, reached Berlin, returned victorious, entered college - and, as a result of denunciation, received 6 years in the camps. Here he was lucky - he didn’t die, survived, and returned (albeit with the stigma of being “disabled”). He worked as a foreman at a construction site and as a literary employee in a regional newspaper... And all this time, starting from childhood, he wrote poetry. And then his poems became songs that were given life by Joseph Kobzon, Alla Pugacheva, Larisa Dolina, the Lesopoval group and many others.
