Книга "Еріка" Марти Шрейн вражає своєю емоційною глибиною та складністю персонажів. Історія сучасної Попелюшки, яка проходить через численні випробування, є не лише казкою, а й реалістичним відображенням життя, де краса, сила та розум поєднуються з трагізмом і пристрастями. Головна героїня, Еріка, вражає своєю стійкістю та здатністю переносити удари долі, що робить її дуже близькою та зрозумілою для читача. Зустріч з князем Гедеміновим, який стає її рятівником і підтримкою, додає сюжету романтики та надії. Хоча текст книги перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних недоліків у формулюваннях, загальна якість перекладу не заважає насолоджуватися цією чудовою історією.
