The small desert town in the heart of Red Sands was almost untouched by the scorching atomic flame. There is radiation, but it is not visible, and therefore there is nothing to think about it. The main thing here is to get a piece of meat so as not to die of hunger - after all, no one will feed him. The days of the young hunter Bitumen are similar to one another: the time is filled with hunting, searching for edible plants, catching insects, tracking down serious prey. He's a loner. Canny. Although he is young, he has earned the respect of others - he knows his business and doesn’t talk much. Life would have gone on like this, but one day a car of strangers from distant Russia arrives in the city. These people are well armed, taciturn, gloomy and secretive. And against his will, the hunter Bitumen becomes their guide in the sands, where every dune hides something terrible underneath, and mad cannibals roam among the ruins...
