The characters of Evgeny Mamontov, a literary recluse who, due to some misunderstanding, recently received the Astafiev Prize, are trying to single-handedly blow up the history of the city or, at worst, challenge the history of mankind. Oddly enough, but to some extent they succeed. The novel and story are written extremely excitingly and captivate with a rare combination of complexity and simplicity.
