Data is provided on frigates in service, under construction and designed: names and numbers, number of ships in in formation and in series, dates of laying, launching and entry into service; enterprises (factories, firms) - builders (for licensed construction, design firms are indicated); talks about the features of projects, design, construction, repairs and upgrades. Numerous illustrations are presented: photographs, external appearance and general arrangement of frigates. The appendix provides basic information on the armament of frigates: anti-ship, anti-submarine and anti-aircraft missiles, ship-based helicopters, torpedoes, bomb launchers and artillery installations.
