Автор, Анрі Левенбрюк, майстерно створює атмосферу давнього острова Гаелія, де боротьба між друїдами та християнами, а також темні сили, що загрожують світу, сплітаються в захоплюючий сюжет. Головна героїня, маленька жебрачка Алеа, вражає своєю сміливістю та рішучістю, а її подорож, сповнена небезпек і таємниць, тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Хоча переклад книги, виконаний за допомогою штучного інтелекту, має деякі недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися глибокими темами, які піднімаються в романі, такими як доля, віра та боротьба за справедливість.
