Книга "Водомірка" вразила мене своєю глибиною та емоційним навантаженням. Сюжет розгортається на туманному узбережжі Россес-Пойнт, де таємниче вбивство стає каталізатором для особистої подорожі головної героїні Сьюзан. Її прагнення дізнатися правду про загиблого чоловіка переплітається з її власними переживаннями щодо зниклого батька, що надає історії особливого емоційного забарвлення. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу загадки та напруги, а також глибоко досліджує теми втрати, пам'яті та відпущення. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися сюжетом. Я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить детективи з емоційною складовою та глибокими персонажами. Вона залишила в мені багато роздумів і вражень!
