In the 18th century, the ballet troupe of the Bolshoi Kamenny Theater in St. Petersburg lived the same way as in our time: intrigue, quarrels over roles, love affairs between young dancers. Автор майстерно відтворює атмосферу Санкт-Петербурга того часу, показуючи не лише красу балетного мистецтва, але й темні сторони життя артистів. Сюжет закручується навколо загадкової смерті красуні-дансерки Глафіри, що викликає безліч емоцій і переживань. Взаємини між персонажами, особливо між Санькою та Федькою, наповнені глибиною і щирістю. Вони змушують читача переживати за їхню долю, адже любов і зрада йдуть поруч з небезпекою та інтригами. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на загальне враження, книга залишається захоплюючою та емоційною. Рекомендую всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами детективу та романтики!
