Автор майстерно створює атмосферу середньовічної Шотландії, де кланові війни, честь і кохання переплітаються в один складний клубок. Історія Джеймса та Давини - це не просто романтична пригода, а глибока розповідь про втрати, зраду та відновлення. Яскраво прописані персонажі, їхні емоції та переживання роблять цю книгу надзвичайно живою. Особливо вразила трансформація Джеймса, який повертається з битв не лише фізично загартованим, але й емоційно зрілим. Хоча переклад деяких фраз може бути не зовсім коректним, це не заважає насолоджуватися сюжетом. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить історії про кохання, що долає всі перешкоди!
