Since the Galactic War of the Horus Heresy, the name of Ahriman has been tarnished with dishonor. The greatest vice of Ahriman, the greatest sorcerer of the Thousand Sons and protégé of Magnus the Red, is pride. The mistaken belief that casting the Rubric spell would free his native legion from the curse led to his exile. However, Ahriman, pushed by his relatives, did not give up trying to return his brothers from their incorporeal state and, in order to gain knowledge of how to do this, challenged the worst nightmares of the Galaxy and the Eye of Terror itself. To become a savior, Ahriman must risk the curse and wrath of the primarch upon himself.
