Denis Okan, pilot instructor of civil aviation, wrote a book about the main business of his life. “When everything is just beginning” is a story about the very first steps in the profession of a pilot.

In the book, Denis recalls his studies at the Buguruslan Flight School, the Academy of Civil Aviation in St. Petersburg and the United Airlines training center in the USA, his first steps in the development of An-2, Tu-154, Boeing 737 aircraft and, of course, memorable flights that happened at the beginning of his flying career. He shares the intricacies of flying and recalls the path that he has traveled from an inexperienced pilot to an aircraft commander.
