The collected works of the Austrian writer Stefan Zweig (1881-1942) is the most complete one published in Russian. It contained everything that was published in the Collected Works of the 30s, and was supplemented by new translations of post-war German publications. The sixth volume of the Collected Works included historical and critical essays “Healing and the Psyche” - with articles about F. Mesmer, Mary Becker-Eddy and Z. Freud, who brought to life the idea of healing by the spirit, and “Joseph Fouche” - about a remarkable political figure of the era of the French Revolution and Empire.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
