After the Great Patriotic War, information flashed in the newspapers about how nineteen-year-old Soviet intelligence officer Nastya, who knew German well, was thrown behind enemy lines. There she became a nurse under Hitler's general Baron von Funck, received Germany's highest order - the Knight's Cross and, together with the sick general, went to his ancestral castle. After the death of the baron, she became the mistress of the castle.
Until the end of the war, Nastya supplied our intelligence with the most valuable information. The story is extraordinary, almost fantastic, and the famous Russian writer, front-line soldier Ivan Drozdov told about it in his novel.
