When Daphne Marrity comes across a strange film that causes attacks of pyrokinesis in people, burning everything around them, she and her father Frank find themselves at the center of a global conspiracy, which involves not only government intelligence agencies, but also a secret society created in the Middle Ages. Soon the father is attacked by a blind killer, and a ghost speaks to Daphne directly from the switched-off TV, and gradually the Marritys understand that the true history of the 20th century has little in common with that presented in textbooks, and the reality is much worse than it seems. But this is not so bad, because now the father and daughter have become participants in a terrible game, defeat in which is worse than death, since they have got into their hands the key to destroying not only what will be, but also what has already been. And all this has something to do with the latest invention of Albert Einstein, Charlie Chaplin and “The Tempest” by William Shakespeare.
