The current situation with coronavirus, which has largely equalized the population of developed, prosperous countries with the residents of developing countries, is presented allegorically as an episode of natural selection. Trouble came to Earth, and the era of the all-powerful “foreign” dinosaurs ended. But why didn’t they survive, but we—modest, not always well-fed, not the strongest or richest—but warm-blooded mammals united by our own patriotic spirit?
