Christmas is coming - a holiday of hope for all humanity, bright, pure, filled with Love. God is love. The feeling of quiet, bright joy is getting closer and closer. I have a proposal: print Christmas stories, let them bring warmth and love into our lives, God willing, we will become a little kinder from the coming miracle of the Lord’s coming into our world. A little about where this idea came from. One day two years ago, the priest asked me to collect several spiritual poems and put them in a book. One of our parishioners heard this; he always came to our church with his little daughter. I replied that the poems are grown-up, I’d rather print out for you a children’s selection of Christmas poems that we did for our Sunday school. When I gave them to him, he was very happy and said, turning to his daughter: “Here we are reading with my grandmother in the evening.” I don’t know why a picture appeared in my eyes like something from “The Snow Queen”: an old, endlessly loving grandmother, with glasses on the tip of her nose, reading a book to her beloved granddaughter, covered with a warm blanket. And then a friend came and brought me to show me the “Big Book of Christmas”, it is so beautiful, big, but there is Christmas and Catholic Christmas and fortune telling, and I wanted our children to have the same wonderful book, only Orthodox! Thank you, Fatinia, she immediately offered me a book to type, there are a lot of Orthodox stories in there, and she hasn’t asked me for it for 2 years, although it’s time and honor to know, I want to return it this year. I looked for the rest of the stories on the Internet, from other books. In general, the set has already turned out to be quite voluminous. Last year, I posted them on the “Cook” forum and many girls also sent stories, but, unfortunately, I didn’t copy them, thinking that the forum would always be there, but it closed.
