Автор майстерно створює атмосферу таємничості та страху, коли дівчина Гері Джоан раптово зникає, і навколо її зникнення починає розгортатися заплутана та моторошна історія. Кінг вміло грає на емоціях читача, змушуючи його переживати за долю героїні та її рідних. Сюжет наповнений несподіваними поворотами, які тримають у напрузі до самого кінця. Окремо варто відзначити, що навіть незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на сприйняття тексту, загальна якість написання та глибина сюжету компенсують це. Рекомендую всім шанувальникам Кінга та любителям захоплюючих історій про зникнення та таємниці!
