XXII century. Humanity has experienced a difficult war with robots, which was led to by the rapid development of artificial intelligence. Now people have chosen a different paradigm, improving their bodies with the help of genetic modifications. Man as a species is thriving and actively exploring space. One fine day, researchers discover an alien ship on Jupiter’s moon – icy Europa. A group of scientists, politicians and military personnel are sent there to try to establish contact with aliens. The journey through the mysterious ship is fraught with many surprises that will make the heroes think that prosperity and peaceful existence are values that must be fought for.

Автор майстерно описує еволюцію людства, яке, вдосконалюючи свій організм за допомогою генних модифікацій, відкриває нові горизонти в дослідженні космосу. Сюжет, що обертається навколо виявлення інопланетного корабля на супутнику Юпітера, розкриває не лише наукові, але й філософські питання про природу людства, мир та процвітання. Подорож героїв на загадковому кораблі сповнена несподіванок та відкриттів, які змушують задуматися про цінності, за які варто боротися. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на загальне враження, книга все ж варта прочитання. Вона залишає глибокий слід у серці та розумі, спонукаючи до роздумів про наше місце у всесвіті. Рекомендую всім, хто любить наукову фантастику та філософські роздуми!
