The monograph is devoted to the history of Spanish gardens, little studied in world science, which occupy a special place in the landscape art of Western Europe. Since ancient times, the art of Spain, which contained the artistic traditions of different peoples who succeeded each other on the Iberian Peninsula, developed at an uneven, as if pulsating pace. The author examines in detail certain periods of Spanish park construction, when original figurative solutions and style systems were found. Extensive and heterogeneous The material in the monograph reflects the researcher’s vivid and immediate impressions of meeting the famous monuments of Spanish landscape art.
