Thomas Hanscheu was born in Brooklyn in 1857. From the age of 16 he played in the theater, first in minor roles, and later in major roles. In 1892 he moved to Great Britain with his family. Thomas Hanshew became famous as an author through a series of books about the “man of a thousand faces” Hamilton Click (the novel “The Man from Scotland Yard” that we presented here also belongs to this series), who first appeared in stories in 1895.
