Something strange happened to Eva when she visited the Neoglobus theater, which revives Shakespearean traditions. She met there a young actor who called himself Christopher Marlowe, the poet-predecessor of Shakespeare. Christopher claims that he will soon be killed. He asks Eve, after this happens, to come to a back alley, where the spirit will tell her the name of the killer. And the terrible scenario comes true! Tormented by curiosity, Eva goes to the indicated place and... disappears! Her faithful friend, detective Vseslav Smirnov, rushes to search for her. He soon realizes: all these mystical events have a very real background...
