Книга "Фосс" - це справжня епопея, яка переносить читача в 1840-ті роки в Австралії, де дослідник Йоган Фосс і його команда намагаються скласти першу детальну карту Зеленого континенту. Автор майстерно описує не лише фізичні труднощі експедиції, а й емоційні переживання героїв, зокрема, розлуку Фосса з його коханою Лорою Тревельян. Ця розлука стає символом боротьби між обов'язком і особистими почуттями, що робить історію ще більш глибокою та зворушливою. Читач відчуває всю напругу та небезпеку, з якими стикаються герої, а також їх внутрішні конфлікти.
