Автор майстерно передає атмосферу епохи, в якій жив герой, і його внутрішні переживання, які супроводжують його на шляху до пізнання магії. Прагнення Аура до знань і влади, його моральні дилеми та боротьба з темрявою роблять його персонажем, з яким легко ідентифікуватися. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, і в деяких місцях можуть бути незначні недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючим сюжетом.
