Автор майстерно створює атмосферу таємничості, поєднуючи елементи фентезі з реаліями життя в болотах. Персонажі, зокрема харизматичний проповідник Коттон, викликають інтерес і змушують задуматися про моральні питання. Хоча в тексті можуть бути деякі недоліки перекладу, це не заважає загальному сприйняттю історії. Я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить глибокі та емоційні сюжети з елементами надприродного!
