Leonardo da Vinci's creative legacy includes hundreds of architectural drawings - mostly sketches and sketches with occasional notes in the margins, in most cases closely related to each other. This part of da Vinci’s graphic heritage reflects the different stages of his conceptual reflections and still causes heated debate among researchers of the history of architecture. This book examines the direct and indirect connections of the maestro with his contemporaries and the dynamics of the spread of his architectural ideas. The authors hope that their research will contribute to a clear definition of the role of Leonardo at the dawn of the Modern Age, which had a beneficial influence on all types of art, and will present a more complete picture of Leonardo's relationship with his customers.
