The “Hour of the Ox” does not have a specific socio-psychological focus; the problems raised in it are of an extraterrestrial, planetary nature. Created four years before his death, the novel by the world-famous scientist, writer, thinker Ivan Antonovich Efremov (1907 - 1972) deservedly stands alongside such works as “We” by E.
