Книга "Правдива брехня" переносить читача в епоху середньовіччя, де на фоні хрестового походу розгортається неймовірна історія кохання між графом де Сен-Мором та його дружиною Габріеллою. Автор майстерно поєднує історичні факти з емоційними переживаннями персонажів, що робить сюжет не лише цікавим, а й надзвичайно зворушливим. Драматичні повороти подій, які виникають на шляху героїв, тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Особливо вразила символіка обручки, яка стала не лише знаком кохання, а й метафорою всіх труднощів, з якими доводиться стикатися закоханим. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися глибиною сюжету та емоціями персонажів. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить історичні романи з елементами драми та романтики!
