The literary heritage of Henry Kuttner, the founder of many genres of science fiction, is incredibly rich. However, some of his works deservedly enjoy special love from readers. This collection includes just such, universally recognized and beloved novels by Henry Kuttner: “The Planet is a Chessboard”, “Mutant”, “Night Battle” and “Fury”. The book opens with the novel “Countless Tomorrows” - for the first time in Russian! Henry Cutter is perhaps the most multifaceted science fiction writer of the twentieth century. His first success came to him at the age of twenty-one - then he was predicted to have a great future as an author of mysticism in the spirit of Lovecraft. Then he was criticized for “space action films” with a wildly twisted plot, and Cutter began to hide under numerous pseudonyms. In 1940 he married writer Catherine Moore. The couple almost constantly worked as co-authors and published the fruits of their joint work under pseudonyms or under the name of Henry Cutter himself, so it is still unknown to whose pen which stories belong. After his untimely death in 1958, Cutter secured the title of classic of the genre. This volume includes the most beloved novels by readers: “The Planet is a Chessboard”, “Mutant”, “Night Battle” and “Fury”. The book opens with the novel “Countless Tomorrows,” which has never been published in our country before.
