Роман "Прощавай, Німеччина" вражає своєю глибиною та здатністю передати атмосферу бурхливих часів, коли світ змінювався на очах. Автор майстерно описує складні події кінця 80-х та початку 90-х років, зокрема закінчення війни в Афганістані та виведення радянських військ із Німеччини. Читач відчуває всю тяжкість армійського побуту, міжнаціональних конфліктів та економічних труднощів, але водночас книга сповнена оптимізму та гумору, що робить її читання легким і приємним. Персонажі прописані дуже живо, їхні переживання та емоції резонирують з читачем. Хоча переклад іноді має недоліки, це не заважає загальному сприйняттю твору. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією та соціальними змінами, адже вона не лише розважає, але й змушує задуматися про важливі питання.
