In the winter of 1959, one of the most mysterious stories of the twentieth century took place in the Northern Urals - the death under mysterious circumstances of a group of tourists led by Igor Dyatlov. For several decades now, both experts and numerous enthusiasts have been trying to solve the mystery, but a single version, universally accepted and not contradicting any known facts, has never been born. The proposed book is an artistic and documentary study of the Dyatlov tragedy. The documentary part contains a detailed analysis of almost all previously expressed versions (except for the completely fantastic and marginal ones), their weak points are identified based on comparison with the materials of the criminal case about the death of the Dyatlovites, their diaries and letters, etc. The author’s version is presented in artistic form .

Книга "Дорога до Мертвої гори" - це справжнє дослідження однієї з найбільш таємничих трагедій в історії радянського туризму. Автор вдало поєднує художній стиль з документальними фактами, що робить читання не лише захоплюючим, але й пізнавальним. Я був вражений, як детально розглядаються всі версії, що існують навколо загибелі групи Дятлова, і як автор намагається знайти логічні пояснення до кожної з них. Читач отримує можливість зануритися в атмосферу того часу, відчути страх і невідомість, з якими стикнулися туристи. Хоча переклад має деякі недоліки, це не заважає загальному сприйняттю тексту. Книга викликає безліч емоцій і залишає після себе багато запитань, на які, можливо, ніколи не буде знайдено відповідей. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться історією, загадками та людською психологією!
