Автор майстерно підходить до розкриття характеру Петра, його досягнень та помилок, що робить цю біографію неймовірно цікавою та пізнавальною. Читач отримує можливість глибше зрозуміти, чому Петро I викликає такі суперечливі думки: з одного боку, його реформи та модернізація країни, з іншого – жорстокість та безкомпромісність. Книга не лише інформує, але й спонукає до роздумів про етику влади та відповідальність лідерів. Хоча деякі моменти перекладу можуть бути не зовсім точними, загалом текст читається легко і зрозуміло. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться історією та політикою, адже вона відкриває нові грані розуміння особистості Петра I та його впливу на історію Росії.
