Ця книга "Перший крок на щастя" вразила мене своєю глибиною та емоційністю. Історія Семюела Фірта та леді Кассандри розкриває складні стосунки між людьми, їхні страхи та бажання. Автор майстерно передає емоції героїв, їхні внутрішні переживання та боротьбу з минулим. Читач занурюється в атмосферу романтики, інтриг і непередбачуваних поворотів сюжету. Хоча Семюел спочатку виглядає як цинічний гульвіса, його характер поступово розкривається, і ми починаємо розуміти, що за його вчинками стоять глибші причини. Кассандра, з іншого боку, демонструє силу та рішучість, що робить її надзвичайно привабливою героїнею.
