A number of serious changes are taking place in the government in Russia. Authorities from warring criminal gangs are making attempts to remove the watchdog of Russia, the thief in law Varyag, but incredibly, his wolf sense saves him from death. Varyag is released from an American prison and returns to Russia. But terrible trials await him at home: loss of friends, loved ones, betrayal, pursuit, arrest. He finds himself in the “bitch” zone, where he is destined to disappear into obscurity. But Varyag does not give up. He subjugates the entire zone and begins the fight against the cruel camp authorities.
