The heroine of the book, a girl named Brooke, has a best friend - her classmate Zeke. Zeke landed the lead role in a school production of a play called "Ghost." Zeke is completely engrossed in the production. He enjoys dressing up in the mysterious Phantom costume. But Brooke thinks that Zeke is getting too carried away and going beyond what is allowed when he scares the other participants in the play. And then the really scary things begin.
