Children of the Great Patriotic War. What were they like? What was their childhood like? “Lyuba, Lyubushka, LOVE” are stories from my mother’s childhood and youth, which took place deep in the rear of a Siberian village. The heroine of the stories is the girl Lyuba, who at the very beginning of the Great Patriotic War was only nine years old. Lyubochka is a very smart and curious girl. Therefore, various funny and sad stories happen to her and her friends. These are true stories from the life and everyday life of village children during wartime. These are stories about mothers, about the neighbors of their village, about all those who did hard rear collective farm work, fed our army, provided voluntary assistance to the defenders of our Motherland, in a common desire for a speedy victory and the end of the war. It may be difficult for children of today to understand them, children of war. But children's feelings and experiences, sincerity and their actions will be understandable. After all, children enthusiastically learn about life during their childhood years, no matter what historical events happen in the world at that time.
